Adding an event

  • Select ‘Events’ from the menu on the left hand side (under posts) (NB. do not edit the page called ‘Events’ under pages – this is set up so it feeds through from the events section).
  • Here you can add new events in the same way that you add posts
  • Enter the name of the event into the title field
  • Enter the event details into the main text area
  • Enter the event details such as time below – the time can be all day or recurring
  • Enter the venue – to add a new venue select the plus sign next to the list :


  • Here you can fill in the new address details:


  • Adding a postcode will automatically generate a map
  • Previously entered addresses will be saved and appear in the drop down menu
